TEAM SELECTION FOR SEASON 2

I'm putting it to the vote to see what way league members think would be the fairest way to select their team for next seson. I have given 3 options cos they are the only options i can think of at the moment. If anybody has any other suggestions, please feel free to post them here. I hope to start season 2 in 2-3 weeks. The sooner people play their backlog fixtures, the sooner we can start.

My suggestion:

Make the league in gamertags instead of club names

example top of div 2 right now would be...

Bocabay
lISc00byIl
Jugganot
etc...


Then let each team pick any side they want to play their fixtures...Rules being no international sides and you can play whoever you want out of the club list

I think we said before tho, it'd get seriously boring playing Chelsea and Barcelona every week. The beauty of playing with any team you chose at the start of a season, theres a realistic pressure to beat a lower rated team.

I think draw teams out of a hat. Most sensible/fair and exciting way in my opinion.

I had the idea of playing with custom teams, By playing online through Unranked games, Maybe we could import some kind of transfer system. Not sure how we'd manage it. But it'd be awesome. OR each player is told they can have a certain rating i midfield/striker/defence and you acn pick whoever you like, aslong as it meets the Rating criteria, Just an idea. Would be abit more work i think.

I like the transfer system...like a dream team listing and youve got so much money to spend

its pretty boring for me losing to players i may well beat with a better side

hard to get the balance i think

How about a NFL Style draft whoever finishes bottom of the League gets first pick. Only trouble is I cannot see people winning back to back titles. It would suit me because the way Im playing Im a cert for the wooden spoon. lol
How the hell can you do a poll thing PK Im so pissed off with computers evryone on here is super tech.

Well i will be pretty gutted (well not futted but peeved) if i go on and win the lague and get promoted only to not be able to have a go at the first division.

Obviously whatever poll decides im cool with tho

How about the bottom 2 get first picks, then the top 2 promoted next picks and so on. Im totally cool on any rules Im just happy to play in a great League with some great players. It's a pretty good feeling when you beat a 5 star team with a 4 star team. Just look at Bates 4.5 and winning the leage I did not see that att he start of the season. Any plans for a World Cup ?

Yeah some strange things happen, I've had some dodgey results lately aswel.

I Lost 13 on the spin. I have decided Im never leaving my PS3 just not worth it. Finally got a win let the relegation dog fight begin lol

If we do go for the draw thing how about a webcast lol. Knowing PK he could probally do that as well.

the point is there are a whole load of 4 and a half star team

you could cross off 5 star teams and say have your pick of the rest...this would make the game a lot more fair

even if someone got one of the "lesser" 4 and a half star teams they still wouldnt be that far behind like they are now

arsenal, milan or juventus are probably your 3 best 4 and a half star team...and even if you had say, everton, you would still be able to give a decent showing of yourself

I didn't think of that yeah that could work. Either way Im happy to do whatever everyone decides. I was just thinking about PK saying we were going to have 1 league. How about this let's say there were 12 teams. 3 Groups of 4 top 2 qualify and so on just an idea. I can't understand why people are leaving. You go on forums and everyone is asking about joining leagues. Great bunch of players. Matches played in great spirit but people are leaving. The set up Ive seen is second to none so go figure

There are tons of random generators online so no need to buy a bingo machine, lol.

If you guys are keen on an live draw, i think the easiest thing to do would be to set up a teamviewer session or webcam seesion via windows live or something. Otherwise, i trust PK to sort.

You could assign a number to each member of the league (ie mc_flurry 1, scooby 2, PK 3 .... etc) and then another number to each team (ie Man Utd 1, Chelsea 2 .... etc) and then use the random number generator. just an idea.

There is so much potential in the league such as having a league cup etc.

Id be up for a world cup tourney sometime as well.

What no bingo machine what you playing at lol sorry that was a piss take. I got that from the FA Cup draw. And the webcam lol that was a joke. Um one problem with the World Cup would be you can't have all the World Cup Teams. I only noticed that the other day lol. So that leave's the World Cup Game and from everyones comments Im going to be Billy no mates on it.

Its been decided then we'll pick teams from a hat
