Messy Music

alot of hard work and commitment... not to mention the money invested in equipment. lol

i mainly sample old breaks to find some drums then take it from them... i mean it is more complex then that but really hard to explain in txt....

IDEA: maybe i will make a youtube video.

Are you basically selling the rights to the track so others can use it in thier songs etc?
I can imagine listening to, How can i... Jay-z or TheGame spitting some verses on it!

Had a listen and you have some good sounding tracks there. I did like the "ARRIVAL" track but i would say that you would probably need to cut down the number of times "messy" is said. Also, "HOW CAN I" was a wicked track. Good sounding stuff mate.

all music is on sale.

there are 2ways to go about that.

1)lease / rent a beat... gives you 12months access to the beat and allows you to sell the finished product no more that 2,000 copies and all credits are to djmessy/jmessyuk. (with this option I am still able to keep the beat on my page for further sales.

2)exclusive rights to a beat... gives you lifetime access to the beat. sell as many copies as you like. i will give you the full beat and the original samples etc. i will remove the beat from my listing and it will not be sold again...all credits again go to djmessy/jmessyuk... this option is the more expensive option but you can see why.

the "messy" sample is meant to be in all tracks but i got lazy on some of them. it is there to prevent people ripping the music from my playlists and using the beats without me knowing.

so having the "messy" sample in there it stops artist from doing that as you can imagine it would be difficult to write to a song with "messy" keep reapeating it self.

Some pretty unique sounds mate.

One of my mates uses FL Studio to produce and mix, he's gotten pretty amazing at it lately. What do you use?

i learned everything i know on FL Studio. lol

it is a great program once you learn the whole ins and outs.

i have been using it for 8/9yrs straight now, recently i added the MPC1000 to my set up which is making life for me so much easier.

I used to play around with Sequel and Cubase but was never interested in it. I also remember playing around with the first ejay when i was a lighty, LOL. Ill look around my old music files and see if i can find anything i made.

Messy, continuing from the sales aspects.. Have you sold tunes to any leading artists?

Have you considered doing a DJ EJ type thing as well? Just pumping out loads of Volumes with about 27 tracks on it.

Maybe as well, you could make a catchy tune for some videos that we create for TEC.. Like goals on fifa or a GTA montage.?.. Obviously we'll give yo full rights to the music and whatever else is needed?

not sold any beats to leading artist as such. have sold to artist (underground) but nothing to fill the bank or give me star status. lol

elaborate more on this DJ EJ things. (seems interesting)

and yh sounds great to help you's out... no problem to make tunes for the forum. im sure we can come up with something easliy... (background music, intro sounds, even jingles)

let me know if you wanna take this further.

lol we could make a league montage and video some games that are played in the league put it on youtube to get more people lol
