Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
TEC League Rules & Regulations
Everything in here should be all you need to know, If theres anything i've failed to mention or just something you need to know, let me know in this Topic only.
Match rules
Each and every league match will be a ranked game, therefor any sort of cheating is impossible and the result will be recorded on ' http://www.easportsfootball.co.uk/ '.
When 90 minutes is up, and the game has ended as a draw, 1 point will be shared. Extra time & Penalties won't be counted in the league result.
Win - 3Points
Draw - 1Point
Loss - 0Points
- Basically the same as any official Football league.
Each match week you will be given 1 week to finish your match, if for any reason you cannot play your match in the indicated time, let one of the League Mods know (Purple_Kush, Walsall_Ram, BatesAvfc)
Disconnections
It's always hard to tell if disconnections are on purpose or mistakes. So heres what will happen when disconnections occur;
If you are winning and you disconnect, the match will be replayed with the same amount of time left to play. example - Quit at 60 Mins, you will play the remainder (30mins) of the match at the same score.
If you are losing and you disconnect, your opponent gets the option to replay, or choose the win.
If your drawing and one of you disconnects you replay the fixture from the start.
Fair play/Sportsmanship
Please remember guys, this is just for fun. Although it doesn't hurt to get a bit of passion involved, Keep it friendly.

Re: Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
Can I put this idea forward;
If someone has a fixture that has not been played, then there will be a week in the month where you can play that "game in hand"..
but if someone has 2 or more for 3 months in a row then we class this as being inactive?.. Which would mean being kicked off the league.
Hope that made sense? Lol.
Also, if people keep on top of players being booked/sent off... that would be magical, then 5 yellows mean a 1 game ban, and a red card he'll miss the next game.. hard to police, but would be amazing if it worked.

Re: Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
What about doing this:
At the end of the alocated time to play (eg for fix 1 and 2 its 20/12) you should put up a overall fixture review showing all game scores, players who scored and booked players etc.
This topic should be locked so nobody can post a reply and only used as a reference for the next fixtures to be played.

I'll add both of your points to the Firs port and delete your posts

20th mate. Next Sunday.
I dont think the Celtic dude is wanting to play..so maybe someone on the waiting list can step forward?
Has Scarface got his new PS3 yet?
Re: Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
oh we have until next sunday to play?...has that been extended?
will fixtures 3 and 4(and then every one after that) have to be played within a week...once we are settled with who is playing that should be easy to do

Re: Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
I think i stated somewhere that the first deadline was the 20th anyway? So if someone changed that, I dunno.?. lol.
After the first deadline, you will have 7 calendar days to complete your 2 fixtures.(Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun) With the time deadline being 2000(gmt) Then we'll post up fixtures before Monday starts, hopefully.
Doesn't sound much, but most are busy in the week, so this will help more out, rather than saying play all your games at once and wait for every other else.

I think 2 up 2 down. Not sure about a play off? Will have to ask the other guys I think.
Re: Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
if fixture deadline is next sunday...we should set wednesday as the deadline for no show players...so that we can get the new entrants a chance to replace them and get their fixtures played

Okay mate, I've already posted on the waiting list, basically i think it's time to bring one of them in, before everyone gets bored.

Re: Rules, Regulations & FAQ.
Can i ask a question, me and the jugganot (bro in law) can never connect to each other, he stays 50 miles away from me but will be down at mine for a bit on Saturday, would it be possible for us to play our game Live on saturday, also are we playing 2 games against each other so we could just play the 2 and get them out the way while he is down, anyway let me know.

Doesn't work all the time, for example in my case, i switched ISP's. With the first one, Eircom, i had no problems wirelessly after forwarding ports and setting up static ip address, but when i switched to another ISP, NTL, their modem, not router, but the modem has its own built in firewall that i can't figure out how to turn off or get past. I think wired is the best and easiest solution especially with things like this available:

Have you tried scrapping your ISP modem and go for something like this?
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1274735611.1260978884@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccchadejdlhjdedcflgceggdhhmdfoj.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=537732&category_oid=-28359
cuts out the need for a seperate router...just feed your connection in, set it up and you are in control of both router and modem all in 1
i dont have 1, but i have used 1, my friend has 1 that I had to set up for him
